Alêtheia Christian Fellowship
Pastor Scott's Biography
After high school Scott enlisted in
the
United States Marine Corps
where he
served for 7 years
attaining the rank of
Staff
Sergeant (E-6). During that time,
he earned both A.S. & B.S.
Degrees from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University.
Pastor Scott Keller graduated from Flathead High School
in Kalispell, Montana with the Class of 1978. His mother
came from a devout Roman Catholic family and his father
was the descendant of the original Mormon pioneers who
settled in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho in the 1840s.
Scott then entered the United States Air Force, earning a
Regular Commission as a Distinguished Graduate of Officer
Training School. After serving 6 years in the Air Force, Captain
Keller found himself at-the-end-of-his-rope. Miraculous
intervention saved his life and more importantly his soul.

Now fully committed to Christ, Scott married the former Mariah
Sims and left active duty to begin a new chapter back in
Kalispell, Montana. Scott was flying a Falcon Jet for a
corporation and Mariah was adapting to life on the edge of the
wilderness. They began their family with Scotty in 1993, Katie in
1995 and Carolynn in 1997.
Through this period Scott began Bible
classes, started studying the Greek
language of the New Testament and
taught Bible studies, Sunday school and
youth groups.

It was in 1997 that Scott accepted a
position as a pilot with Continental
Airlines flying B-727 and B-737 jets. He
began taking seminary courses by
correspondence, ultimately earning a
master’s degree, while also continuing
in lay ministry.

Scott surrendered to the ministry and
was ordained on Resurrection Sunday
in 1999. Even so he continued to
struggle with abandoning his airline
career in order to pursue full-time
ministry for 5 more years.
In late 2003, planning began to start a nondenominational
church with Scott serving as the founding pastor. The first
service of Alêtheia Christian Fellowship was held in a room
at the Outlaw Inn on January 18, 2004.

Although, from a human perspective, there was very little
promise in those early weeks, by March of 2004, Scott
nevertheless resigned from Continental Airlines to devote his
full attention to Alêtheia.

Scott continues to pastor Alêtheia Christian Fellowship and
with his wife Mariah, raise their 3 teenage children in what is
arguably the most pristine place in the contiguous United
States.
